Hwee Ng is the CEO of New Asia Ferrell Asset Management Limited. He has over 19 years of experience in the banking and asset management industry. He was previously the Chief Investment Officer of a private equity firm in Beijing and a senior investment consultant with UBS AG in Singapore and Hong Kong.
He was also a portfolio manager with Temasek Holdings and Fullerton Fund Management, and a senior economist with Monetary Authority of Singapore where he conducted topical studies and participated in policy formation.
He holds an honours degree from London School of Economics and Political Science, and a CFA.
Benjamin Tan has over 25 years of experience in the financial industry across banking and insurance multi-national corporations. His experience includes insurance financial planning, wealth management product marketing, technical sales advisory as well as held management roles for various distribution channels; agencies; financial advisors, and banks.
He has held varies management roles with global/regional business firms from Standard Chartered Bank (Bancassurance Head), ABN AMRO N.V. Bank (Head, Personal Financial Services), United Overseas Bank (Bancassurance Sales Head – Business Banking & Commercial Banking), Prudential Assurance Company Singapore Pte Limited (Business Development Director, Agencies), American International Assurance (Head, Credit Life) and MetLife International / MetLife Affiliates Business (Business Development Head, Asia Pacific - Reinsurance Account Management).
He holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree from the National University of Singapore; Associate Certifications from the Life Office Management Associate (LOMA); a Diploma in Life Insurance, Singapore Insurance Institute; Certificates in General Insurance, Financial Needs Analysis, Health Insurance; and Financial Advisory Certifications (CMFAS Modules 1, 5).
